Clean, friendly hostel in an incredible lakeside location! It was quite special eating the excellent (and free!) breakfast or having a drink on the terrace overlooking the lake, after a dip. The guest fridge and kettle were appreciated. It’s not in central montreux but it’s better for it. You can walk along the beautiful lakeside to get into town (or get the bus), but it’s much quieter and nicer at Territet. The only downside was that it’s right next to railway and the trains were quite noisy!

I stayed here on two different occasions. The staff were friendly, excellent location, a wonderful breakfast. I love they have paddleboard rentals. When I stayed, there was a youth camp and the second time, lots of old people, so very little socializing! My first room was nice, however, the second room had a few bugs in the room and smashed bug guys on the wall. I understand bugs come in, but the smashed ones on the wall were very offputting and made me feel like for 150€, it should be cleaner.
