The listing was misleading. No AC, no pool, no laundry—yet all advertised. The room was hot, the fan half broken, and the windows paper-thin so you hear every conversation from reception, the windows open to reception and they hear even the toilet flush—no privacy. The bed was small, hard, and the pillow like cement. The man at night was unhelpful and without any Moroccan charm, though the woman was nice. Overall, I checked out quickly and do not recommend.

The card machine was broken, so only cash was accepted. I wasn’t informed about breakfast and assumed there was none. At 8:30 AM, no staff were around. The rooms couldn’t be locked, which felt unsafe. The staff did help me switch rooms since I was initially alone with an older man. There was only one bathroom and one shower for the entire hostel. Plus, the walls were so thin you could hear people coughing a floor below.

We had an amazing experience at Casa Del Sol. Mohamed and Sallah were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, and it wouldn't have been the same without Fatima! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostel’s location was perfect—close to local attractions and transport. The common areas were also great for meeting fellow travelers. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
