I stayed at Luhme hostel for just one night, Beto was nice but just as a heads up to anyone who might want to go out in Tulum while staying here - the shutters go down in front at 1am, there weren't keys. When I came back at 3am with no service I had to get back to my room through a side door I only found by asking the people next door for help. It wasn't the end of the world but still I don't think I would recommend this hostel for solo female travellers just for security reasons.

Very cool place. It’s an old locale that’s big and spacious for work and entertainment. Got to see fire dancing while there. The only real thing is that if you are going through Mac to find, gps will mislead you. Look for Bayati restaurant. Had fun there.

My weeklong stay at the Luhme Tulum Hostel was delightful. My room was very comfortable and the a/c splitter unit worked flawlessly despite the outside heat! The staff, Jose and others, were kind and lovely! Anything I needed, they were on it! The hostel location was perfect as I needed a central location for the purpose of seeking longer-term housing!
