Casinha Tropical Tijuca

Casinha Tropical is a cozy, quiet, and welcoming hostel located in a residential neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, close to the city’s two main airports. The location is very convenient for both arrivals and exploring the city: we are about a 5-minute walk from the metro station, near Downtown, and approximately 30 minutes from the main beaches. We are also close to some of Rio’s most famous attractions, such as Christ the Redeemer.

Our goal is to provide a relaxed, safe, and comfortable environment, ideal for travelers who want to rest and enjoy the city at their own pace. The hostel is gay-friendly and welcomes travelers from all over the world in an atmosphere of respect, peaceful coexistence, and cultural exchange.

The space features pleasant common areas and a shared kitchen where guests can prepare their meals and feel at home during their stay. The environment was designed to encourage moments of relaxation, connection, and interaction between travelers.

We are also a pet-friendly accommodation, so your pet is very welcome to stay with you. In addition, we offer some convenient facilities to make your experience even more comfortable, such as on-site parking, luggage storage, and additional services during your stay.
