Small and cozy, Big Fish Budapest is perfectly located downtown, with a supermarket and public transport right on the doorstep!
Visit the local bars, ruin pubs, cafes and restaurants - all within walking distance, making it a great base to explore the city!

We offer spacious, bright, and colorful dorms with comfortable beds, each with their own power point, reading light, and large personal locker with plenty of space for your backpack! We have huge windows with plenty of natural light, as well as large shutters for the night time.

We have individual bathrooms with toilets and hot showers for all the privacy you need, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, available any time! The common room is cosy and intimate with a wall mounted projector and computer - a great social hub to meet other travelers. FREE WiFi is also available throughout the hostel.

FREE city maps and any recommendations or advice you might need about your stay. We can recommend you airport transfers and taxis as well as various activities including thermal bath and Sparty tickets, walking tours and bar crawls, boat cruises and even caving adventures...

The hostel was really cozy. I stayed in the treehouse room which was super cute. You get coffee for free. It’s clean. The staff is friendly. The hostel is at a big street so it’s really loud. There were mostly men staying at the hostel with no female only dorms, so I sometimes felt a bit uncomfortable.

I had a great time in this friendly hostel, it actually reminded me more of a flatshare for the atmosphere than a normal "aseptic" hostel :) There is some free coffee and you can get towels if you need- which other hostels sadly did not offer. I found it a very nice idea. And although you cannot lock anything, unless you bring a locker yourself, it felt very safe, exactly because of the cosy and homey atmosphere. The area is very central and well connected, too. I definitely recommend it!
