Small and cozy, Big Fish Budapest is perfectly located downtown, with a supermarket and public transport right on the doorstep!
Visit the local bars, ruin pubs, cafes and restaurants - all within walking distance, making it a great base to explore the city!

We offer spacious, bright, and colorful dorms with comfortable beds, each with their own power point, reading light, and large personal locker with plenty of space for your backpack! We have huge windows with plenty of natural light, as well as large shutters for the night time.

We have individual bathrooms with toilets and hot showers for all the privacy you need, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, available any time! The common room is cosy and intimate with a wall mounted projector and computer - a great social hub to meet other travelers. FREE WiFi is also available throughout the hostel.

FREE city maps and any recommendations or advice you might need about your stay. We can recommend you airport transfers and taxis as well as various activities including thermal bath and Sparty tickets, walking tours and bar crawls, boat cruises and even caving adventures...

CIty tax (8%) is not included in your booking price, will be added during payment

Join any of our in house activities run by our local Big Fish team, from communal cooking and movie nights, to drinking games and bar crawls to some of our favorite spots!

The hostel is good for its price. I arrived being told that I had to be changed to an eight-bed dorm because of the awkward booking system, but that was okay cuz the room was really spacious. The staff are really nice, the shower rooms and toilets were clean. However, the beds really need more cleaning cuz I found biscuit crumbs on the lamp desk. In short, I would recommend this hostel.

Had a great stay here and really felt at home. Location was good near train and tram. Rooms are cosy and the common area / kitchen was a great communal space and easy to meet people. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was efficient the whole time. Could do with some hooks to hang your towel near your own bed, but no biggie, and more fans in the treehouse room. But I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
