A unique hostel suddenly appears in the Togura Kamiyamada Onsen area of Nagano Prefecture. Look for the large retro red sign from the Showa era! [Guesthouse TORAYA] had its grand opening on April 17, 2022. Inspired by Tora-san from the movie 'Otoko wa Tsurai yo,' we aim to create a warm and welcoming world! 'Stop by!', 'Let's talk!', 'Have some tea!' It's a strangely comforting space where you can almost hear these voices.

Please note that most services are self-serve, so we’d be happy if you could lend a hand with various things. If you need anything, you can buy it at a nearby convenient store! For food and drinks, head to the delicious restaurants nearby! We look forward to welcoming you to our helpful house.

I've been immersed in Tora-san's love for 35 years. Known for my red hair and my catchphrase, 'Just stop by!', I live by the motto, 'Once we meet, everyone becomes family!' Though I have a sharp tongue and am easily moved to tears, I cherish each connection.
