My stay was great. I recommend buying into the breakfast option they offer. Very economical price wise and the comfort of having it delivered anywhere in the facility is pretty nice. The breakfast is varied every day and you get a lot. My room came equipped with an ac unit but there was no control for it. I asked a staff member and I was told that my room didn’t include it? I didn’t ask anymore because the room also came equipped with a roof fan. You can’t get more authentic than that!

Hostel is located in a great tourist location/town. There is always special police to protect tourist along the street. Was able to stay in my own room and really enjoyed the feel of feeling like I actually lived over there in D.R. Not a place I’d recommend to stay over with with friends but definitely if you are a solo traveler. More clarification needed when it comes to check in. Difficult for taxis to find the place. If you’re down for the full Dominican residential experience, this is it.

The spot on the map is not actually where the checkin is located at! Hostal Simona is where you want to head out for check in and access to dorm! Staff is very nice!
