Welcome to Drifter Christchurch, an experience for the free-spirited where our story is yours.

We may not have met yet, but we can’t wait to do so and smile and laugh and sing and talk about different stories and write new ones in the snow and sun, and above all, have some fun. We don’t know everything about you, but we do know that simply by the fact you have chosen to visit us, you are curious; you want to see and feel more than you have seen and felt before, and because of that, we are excited to drift away together, somewhere, forever.

The place was amazingly clean, beds were really comfy, amazing variety of facilities. So grateful to the two bathrooms in the larger dorms! Kitchen was great just a bit small, cramped in peak hours. Otherwise wonderful place!

Without a doubt the best hostel Iâ€™ve stayed in. Probably better than some hotels too! Everything was spotless and seems to be brand new. For me it was the little things that made it even better such as the nice tiles and soap in the bathroom and the good quality laundry detergent. All facilities were great! A lot of open spaces to mingle. Kitchen easy to use and clean. The rooms are cleaned daily too and bathrooms. Only one elevator which is the only minus but overall 10/10. Will stay again
