Situated in Koh Tao and within a few steps of Sairee Beach, Tiger House Hostel Koh Tao has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is set 600 metres from Mae Haad Beach, 2.2 km from Jansom Bay Beach and 5.2 km from Sunken Ship. Ao Muong is 5.1 km away and Exchange/ATM Sairee Branch is less than 1 km from the hostel.

At the hostel, all rooms are fitted with a terrace. The rooms include air conditioning, and some rooms at Tiger House Hostel Koh Tao have a balcony.

The staff really went above and beyond: when they noticed I was bandaging up blisters on my feet they offered me bandages, and they also offered me a ride to the pier which was nice. Free breakfast is always a plus and I really enjoyed the made-to-order eggs (scrambled eggs/ fried). There isn’t much going on socially but I was okay with this since I was just staying there during a scuba course. Location is great!

It was a clean hostel and good beds - BUT you can hear the music from the outside during the whole night and even the base from the neighbour parties inside the dorms. Even though the rooms were clean and quiet, the music was hard to ignore. Not at all a social hostel with little to no social areas. I can recommend if you want to party all night and have a clean place to stay, but that is about it.
