This building was built about 50 years ago. At that time, it was a complex that included a souvenir shop, a restaurant, and a banquet hall, and it was said to be crowded with many tourists. However, for the past 30 years, most of the floors have remained unused. Currently, a project called ”HAKOBUNE”, which was started mainly by people in their 20s and 30s in the town, is renovating the building with their own hands, aiming to take advantage of the building’s strengths and rebuild it as a creative playground.

In addition to this hostel on the 4th floor, there is a cafe on the 1st floor, an event space on the 2nd floor, and an atelier on the 3rd floor. Although there may be some inconveniences, we hope that you will enjoy an extraordinary stay, feeling the ruined, retro feel and the budding new culture.

Important Information:

1. Check-in time: from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
When you request to leave your luggage before check in, it is possible only from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2. Check-out time: by 10:00 a.m.
3. Reception hour: from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
4. Payment: cash (JPY) or credit cards (Visa, Master, and Amex)
5. Cancellation policy:
　　(1) 1 days(or more) before Arrival Date: free
　　(2) on the day or No Show: 100 % of the first night
6. Age restriction: over 18 years old
7. No smoking
8. Pets are not allowed.
