Acerca-de
The ancient village of Taxia, with a history of over 500 years, is known as the 'Hometown of Overseas Chinese' and the 'Longevity Village.' Located in this beautiful village are the Tuluomei and Rongzhuang Youduoduo Inns. The village is adorned with picturesque landscapes, flowing streams, and charming bridges, earning it the title of the 'Zhouzhuang of Southern Fujian.'
Within this scenic setting, Tuluomei and Rongzhuang Inns stand as rustic yet elegant structures. Designed and meticulously crafted by a Hong Kong designer, these centuries-old tulou (earthen buildings) retain much of their original architectural character while incorporating modern aesthetics and comfort. Bamboo, along with local materials, is used extensively, including bamboo lamps and bamboo frames. Elements such as ancient bamboo forks and bamboo partitions give the traditional tulou a distinctive and unique appeal.
During summer, you may be greeted by the long-awaited fireflies, while in spring, the famous tulou clusters reveal their unique beauty against the backdrop of this earthly paradise. The stories and legends passed down from ancestors continue to evolve here. After a long day of exploring, you can immerse yourself in the customs of the tulou, where the legends surrounding these structures come to life.
