Empire truly is the best place to start your adventure in Split. Newly renovated, refurnished, and the with the absolute best location in the entire city of Split. With this location, you are only seconds, and we literally mean seconds, away from the best experiences and adventures the Dalmatian coast has to offer, as well as markets, shops, boutiques, cafes, bars, clubs, beaches, and so many landmarks. As soon as you walk out of our front door, you are already at the gates of the UNESCO Heritage site of Diocletian's Palace and the biggest open-air market in the city, Pazar.

Combined with our sister hostel, Hurricane, this is a place you are going to make your new best friends. Our staff is always on hand to help show you everything, whether it is a place for a good meal, a cold beer, or a beach to hang out. Anytime you need, our fully trained staff will coordinate with our network of partners to help you get to the best pub crawls, boat parties, excursions to Krka & Plitvice National Parks, Dubrovnik, Mostar, the Blue Lagoon, the Blue Cave, and depending on the season and weather, up to 25 different adventures in and around Split.

***We are a chill social hostel, and NOT a party hostel. People go to bed and we do observe quiet hours after 11pm. You can start the party here, and then we will show you where to go after hours to keep it going.***

***ADULTS ONLY*** We do not accept guests younger than 18 and older than 50 years of age. If you are outside of this age range upon arrival to the hostel, we have the right to cancel your booking without refund of your deposit, as well as charging the applicable cancellation fee.
