My stay at heartland was wonderful - the staff were so kind and accommodating, the location is perfect (soooo close to all the main tourist sites) and the hostel beds are very comfy , super private and the kitchen has great facilities. Perfect all round

this hostel came recommended and had amazing reviews but was such a let down. we got back late and all our key card weren’t working, we ended up having to bang on the door to our room and wake up our room mates because there was no one at reception. the rooms were tiny and the showers smelt of stagnant water. met some cool people staying there but also a lot very unsociable ppl and some who looked way too old to be staying at a hostel. no free breakfast but there was free coffee/tea.
