Reindeer Run and Walk

The Reindeer Run and Walk is a festive 5K through downtown Charleston, welcoming runners, walkers, families, and dogs to join the holiday fun. Now in its 35th year, the event attracts participants who enjoy dressing up in creative costumes. Whether competing in the costume contest or soaking up the festive spirit, you’ll find plenty of cheer along the route. The community atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy with friends or meet others who share your holiday enthusiasm. The costume contest adds a playful edge, with categories for adults, kids, groups, and pets competing for prizes from local restaurants and attractions. It’s a chance to show off your holiday creativity while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, funding vital pediatric care services. Taking part means contributing to something important while enjoying a spirited seasonal tradition.
