Celtic Connections

Celtic Connections showcases a wide range of Celtic music and culture in Glasgow, offering a chance to explore both traditional and contemporary sounds. With thousands of artists performing across multiple venues, there are plenty of opportunities to discover new music or enjoy familiar tunes. The event’s mix of concerts, workshops, and talks means there’s more than just listening—there’s a chance to engage with the culture behind the music. Whether you’re a dedicated fan or simply curious, the variety on offer makes it easy to find something that suits your taste. Beyond the performances, late-night sessions create a relaxed space where music flows freely and conversations happen naturally. You might share a song or two with fellow attendees, adding a personal touch to the experience. Though the festival is large, it still feels welcoming and accessible. It’s a great way to spend time with friends or meet others who appreciate the rich traditions and evolving sounds of Celtic music.
