really lovely hostal, kind and helpful team, doing their best. large bright spacious private rooms. comfy common areas to meet other guests. the location is not far from old havana but not in it. there are a lot of stairs to climb which you get used to! there are city wide power outages and you should bring your own sim which you can easily get at the airport as wifi is limited.

I stayed here during my first ever trip to Cuba and I am delighted, as they were so helpful! They were able to exchange my USD for CUP, make restaurant recommendations and gave superb insights in to how things work in Havana. My private room was delightful, with a safe, and a fridge. There is a lovely balcony where you can chill and watch the world go by. The location is great, as Parque Central is nearby, the Malecon a few blocks away. I did find the stairs a bit tough in the heat, though!
