Hostel Balkaneros

A fantastic little hostel, one of the best I've stayed at! You feel right at home - expect to want to extend your stay. Good location. Super clean and safe, comfy beds that have curtains for privacy. Fantastic, helpful staff & owner with great local knowledge and a good vibe. Exceptional atmosphere, I met a bunch of great people and had a fantastic time as a solo traveler! Great free breakfast! Wouldn't change a thing - great value for money. 5/5 would recommend and will be back!

Small hostel only 10-15mins away from the old town. Rooms were standard, with strong air-conditioning and several bathrooms with warm water. However, I didn't like how the whole common area with reception, kitchen and extra bathrooms were shut after a certain time every evening. The fact that using the washing was not free and the hostel being fully cash-based kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, as other hostels I stayed at in Bosnia did not have these restrictions.

it was okay but i wouldn’t stay here again. i liked the staff and it was a good environment to meet other people but the beds are soooo horribly uncomfortable. i felt every spring and could not get a good night of rest. i also felt like the bathroom should have been cleaned much better/more often for the amount of people that were using it.
