The online key system didn't always work so sometimes you have to wait outside. So yes it felt safe to stay in this hostel because even the hostel's guests couldn't enter the building or the apartment. The reception is across the street but I didnt get help, they just explained same things that are written in the link they sent you when you check in. Some of the toilet's didn't have hand soap, the door handels were lose and nearly falling of and at least one shower was leaking.

Kitchen and bathrooms are nice, bedroom cramped but beds are super comfy. Across the road from the train station so it’s ideal for a night. It’s quite a far walk into town or to the beach but there is a Lidl really close for supplies! Keep an eye on valuables as there is no key into rooms, just the main door and the lockers under beds aren’t great, but otherwise it’s worth it!

It was just okay. The bathrooms were really far from the rooms, the bedrooms got really hot at night and the location is not in a great area, takes about 25 mins to walk to Old Town. But the kitchen was well stocked and facilities were clean. Okay for one night, not a very social hostel at all.
