The online key system didn't always work so sometimes you have to wait outside. So yes it felt safe to stay in this hostel because even the hostel's guests couldn't enter the building or the apartment. The reception is across the street but I didnt get help, they just explained same things that are written in the link they sent you when you check in. Some of the toilet's didn't have hand soap, the door handels were lose and nearly falling of and at least one shower was leaking.

Staff was extremely rude and laughed at me. There is no light in the room. It is really annoying that you have to go downstairs to the bathroom. There was no space for laying things next to the bed. In the morning, the cleaners came into my room and kept looking at me until I left, I felt guilty for being in my own room. On the website you could reserve breakfast, but that wasn’t there. I did not like my stay.

Bathrooms were downstairs which was frustrating, and could not leave my bag when I left (on a sunday) which was frustrating. Overall though a very clean hostel, with a good kitchen! The mens showers still did not have curtains, but the hostel was working on putting some up so they are listening to the reviews and improving. Great location for both flixbus and trains!!
