Host Bari Centrale

The location of the hostel was better than expected for a train station area. The hostel does not have staff working there, all organizing is done remotely. This creates problems in communication, mainly for check in/out and things that have to do with its operation. Not the best atmosphere for a hostel as nothing is happening. Also, you need to go downstairs and cross the kitchen to go to the bathroom. No lock on the room's door, so everyone can enter and, finally they don't store your luggage.

Kitchen and bathrooms are nice, bedroom cramped but beds are super comfy. Across the road from the train station so it’s ideal for a night. It’s quite a far walk into town or to the beach but there is a Lidl really close for supplies! Keep an eye on valuables as there is no key into rooms, just the main door and the lockers under beds aren’t great, but otherwise it’s worth it!

It was just okay. The bathrooms were really far from the rooms, the bedrooms got really hot at night and the location is not in a great area, takes about 25 mins to walk to Old Town. But the kitchen was well stocked and facilities were clean. Okay for one night, not a very social hostel at all.
