Upon arriving, I met Carlos and he was super cool. He gave me a short tour of the rooms, coffee and bathrooms and even provided a map of suggestions to do in Antigua. Note that he strongly prefers to have cash paid for the hostel. Thankfully he was flexible with allowing me to go to an ATM to retrieve the cash and pay as some hostel travelers left during the middle of their stay and didn’t pay sadly… Overall, this guy and the rooms are legit. Thank you Carlos!

I wanted a private room where I could rest before and after hiking Acatenango, and I slept great at this place! The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet, and the shared bathroom was right outside my door. Carlos was very welcoming every time I walked in and I can tell he works hard to keep things running smoothly. My only note would be that the private room was quite small - as a solo traveler it was perfect for me, but if you are two people with a lot of luggage it would be a tight fit.
