Olemme upouusi hostelli rauhallisella alueella Abraãon kylässä Ilha Grandessa, olemme vain 06 minuutin päässä lauttalaiturilta ja 03 minuutin päässä rannalta. Google mapsissa hostellimme näkyy kahdesti, mutta oikealla kadulla. Jos seuraat tässä annettua osoitetta, sinun pitäisi pystyä löytämään tiesi!

This is a nice small hostel with a homey feel. Very social and everybody talks since it’s smaller. A bit expensive tho and when I asked to stay an extra night they charged me more the last night. They lock the door late at night so I had to jump the gate to go on an early morning run. The shower water was cold and I found out they switched the settings for that. The toilets didn’t flush great so I ran into some gross suprises. Kitchen closes at 9, no microwave or filtered water. Joseph is great.

The hostel was really social, it was really easy to connect to other travelers. The owner is really friendly and the location is good and easy to reach. The hostel doesn’t have a generator, so when there is a power shortage (which happens quite frequently) there won’t be any electricity until the power on the whole island is back.

Unfortunately this hostel is very overpriced and quite dirty. The bedroom smelt very bad and the bathroom was not clean and the bin had no lid. The cooking facilities were fine and the host was lovely but apart from that, I would not recommend staying here. Also the WiFi is not very good and doesn’t work in the bedrooms
