Barcelona Pere Tarres Youth Hostel tarjoaa hyvää vastinetta rahalle ja erittäin hyvän ilmaisen aamiaisen. Henkilökunta on yleensä ystävällistä ja avuliasta, ja sijainti on kätevä julkisen liikenteen kannalta. My locker did not even work so I had nowhere to put anything. It took me an hour to check in because I did not have my passport so I needed to get a photo of it somehow. Nowhere did the website say a passport was needed. Also the elevator wasnt very good, the Wifi did not work at all, the location was far from the center of Barcelona so you have to take a metro everywhere. Staff were nice though.

The staff were so rude its insane, my friend was very unwell and i kindly asked if there was any way he could chill in the room for an hour or two longer after checkout, she said no and proceeded to scold me for even asking. I understand policy but there is also such thing as decency. The ladder up to the bunk was 5cm wide, we ended up jumping down from the bunk rather than using it. On top of that there’s no barrier to prevent people falling off the top bunks, enjoy your lawsuits!

The hostel overall is okay. What ruined my stay was an exceptionally rude member of staff at reception in the morning. Other than that it’s fine.
