Wasn’t a massive fan, a few things make the stay pretty inconvenient and a hassle - specifically the utilities and facilities access. There’s only one washing machine and dryer, and the dryer doesn’t work well - in it takes a long time to dry, and the staff also use it, so basically I don’t recommend coming there with any washing needed done. The rooms are also next to the shared bathrooms, so there’s constant noise in the evening and there’s only one bathroom cubicle per floor so.

Loved the area that the hostel was in. Lots to see nearby and fun to walk around. However — not a very social hostel at all. Front door is also always unlocked. We never felt unsafe but something to be aware of. The dorm rooms have locks but sometimes get left open. Was disappointed they did not have a female dorm, as the 4th floor was smaller and it seemed like they could have definitely made that a female dorm.

Great hostel! Probably the softest bed I slept in all of Tokyo, even compared to hotel rooms. I was there shortly but the location was easy to get to by train and walking distance to the imperial palace.
