Can't knock this place too hard as it's really cheap and not a bad place just to rest. The place does feel really cramped even across four floors although the bed space is large enough and comfortable. The fourth floor mens toilet continuously smelt of urine which really put me off but otherwise it was pretty clean I do get the feeling that anyone could walk off the street and straight up to the dorms, but then again it's Japan and baseline safety is really quite high

The security was very poor. No locks on the main door, staff didn't notice who came or went so anyone could have wandered in. The doors to the sleeping areas were frequently left open as no automatic closing. The quilt covers on the beds obviously hadn't been changed in between guests, mine was stained. The bed was uncomfortable, & was right next to the sinks & hair dryer & walls were super thin The good things the showers, and the one super friendly young man in a purple jacket.
