The a&o Salzburg Hauptbahnhof offers our guest every kind of rooms; single, double and family rooms in the hotel part with en-suite shower and WC as well as TV, or shared rooms for four to six people with en-suite bathroom and comfortable bunk beds. Huge hostel, not a lot of atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend as a first choice shoe a solo traveller as very family friendly, but facilities were fine and close to train station.

Only hostel I’ve stayed in this summer that didn’t provide us with fans check in process took way too long felt safe inside the actual hostel but not in the area around it very close to train station which was good for me as it was a quick passing through but if staying for longer definitely try and stay closer to the old town
