Amsterdam is expensive, so this place is naturally overpriced. Staff was OK, not over friendly, there are no lockers. Very loud at night because it's in the center of the going out area so be prepared for that! apart from that it was fine :)

I stayed here for one night, booked ahead 1 week, about 16 euro after city tax plus 10 for key deposit. When I arrived I was told I had to check in anytime after 3pm. In my opinion many of the other reviews are complaining about stuff that they should expect staying in a hostel. This is not hotel world. BUT I did get horrible skin reaction likely bedbugs a few days afterwards :( after I got home so not from a different hotel or hostel. really convenient for transit and bus to airport though

Good basic hostel. Not very clean and room smelt funny. Really expensive but that’s because it’s Amsterdam. Weird guests… Staff were nice and location was good.

Absolutely horrible. No lockers, dirty bed, dirty room. shady staff and shady guest. As a girl I felt soooo uncomfortable and totally ignored by the staff when I shared my fears. I had to sleep with all my stuff in my bad and in the end even if I booked for five nights I booked another hostel after 3 nights because I was so uncomfortable in that place. Do not book this hostel, pay the 10 euros more to be In a better hostel. Everything about this place grosses me out.

The bedroom was filthy when I arrived, the bins both in the room and toilet were never cleaned during my stay. People left and no one changed the linen. There was no soap in the toilet (seriously?) the shower had no curtain in a 14 mixed room and just one toilet in the same space!! The windows didn’t close properly and it was extremely loud outside. Absolutely not worth the price. There are no lockers or common space. Worst place I ever been to.

Had no idea this place is located literally in the middle of the Red Light District-- which is fine, but loud. My best friend and I stayed in a room with eight, if not nine other men. It was extremely uncomfortable and sharing one bathroom was awful too. If you wanted to shower the hostel only accepted euros, no card. Incredibly inconvenient as we are a cashless society. Also the 10 euro hold for the room key was strange. $260 for a two night stay is insane.

Guy on the front desk asked me for cash even thought I had reserved the place with my bank account before going there he insisted I had not and he told me that if I didn’t pay in cash I couldn’t stay there.
