At the Anda Venice, it's easy to meet fellow travellers in our bright and airy hostel. We hope you'll love our industrial-chic interior as much as we do! It's designed for you to be sociable, with big tables in the kitchen (complete with a breakfast area and dishwasher) and even an urban garden! There's a buzzing mood here thanks to the common areas like our café, games room and laid-back bar with a patio – all ideal for meeting people to swap your stories with.

We're set in Venice Mestre, a 3-minute walk to the station of the same name, so you can reach the main Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia by train in 12 minutes. From here, you can wander to the intricate Piazza San Marco, Venice's central square with its famous clock tower, and soak up the history (while keeping an eye out for the pigeons). Venice Marco Polo airport's an easy 20-minute drive from the hostel.

All rooms have security lockers for your peace of mind, plus en-suites so you can roll out of bed and into a private hot shower. You can choose between female or mixed dorms, accessed by key cards, and linen's included, so your sleeping bag can stay rolled up. There's air-con, too, for those sweltering Italian nights, and a socket and handy reading light beside your bed for that irresistible late-night scrolling.

Extras and activities

We've got 24-hour reception and security, plus an ATM so you won't be short on cash. When you want to check in with home and send those pics of you next to a gondola, log onto our free Wi-Fi. There's luggage storage and a laundry room, including a washer and dryer, in case you need to start re-wearing your outfits. And when you get back with aching feet from a day exploring, skip the stairs and jump in the lift!

Very nice hostel nice big lockers, big fancy room and oh gosh lighting in the mirrors, huge fancy hangout area, name it they have everything.. loved it... although they could have add more activities like organizing drinking games, make it more like a party vibe but what a great hostel..

Loved it here. Very welcoming environment, huge space very clean and modern! The shared spaces are really nice, they have nightly activities and good food served in the evening. Super conveniently close to bus and train terminals. Easy to get into the main city only 12 minute train. Would highly recommend staying here for a cheaper way to be close to the city but not necessarily in the city.

We absolutely LOVED our time here. Aside from them being out of towels we loved the swings, the kitchen, the staff, the music, everything!

The hostel was super cool and I really enjoyed the interior. Breakfast could have been better: even though we went there almost an hour before closing time, many of the food containers were already empty and the staff didn't fill them up anymore. Also the toilet paper was finished a few times. Other than that the experience was really nice!

Super close to Venezia Mestre, beds are comfy with charging station and lockers big enough to fit my massive backpack and then some. Breakfast was a little expensive at €6 but I guess nobody really comes to Venice to keep budget super tight. Bar staff were friendly. Massive hostel so it was easy to get a bit lost in the crowd, but social stuff is there if you want it or you can just as easily keep to yourself if you’d rather. Nice place!

Loved staying here!! The atmosphere was so awesome and the vibe was so fun! Rooms were clean and secure! For the most part the staff was great, but I found that they weren’t very helpful when I had questions regarding tours, attractions, or certain areas around the city. The reception was just missing that “concierge” aspect. Also, on the morning of my early 4am checkout (to catch a 6am flight), the receptionist almost refused to call me a cab, telling me to take the bus at 4:30 instead.

Great hostel to stay, good location with easy access to transportation. The size of it makes it harder to meet people but the facilities are worth it.

Huge hostel which looks nice on entry but actually has a very cold vibe and difficult to make friends and meet people due to how spread out it all is. I added breakfast for 6 euro a day and the first day there was literally nothing there. Asked for my money back and eventually got it after a frosty response. Do not get the breakfast. Sinks in rooms very annoying as you are woken all evening and all morning and can hear your roommates in the loo and shower. Didn’t sleep well, wouldn’t return
