At the Anda Venice, it's easy to meet fellow travellers in our bright and airy hostel. We hope you'll love our industrial-chic interior as much as we do! It's designed for you to be sociable, with big tables in the kitchen (complete with a breakfast area and dishwasher) and even an urban garden! There's a buzzing mood here thanks to the common areas like our café, games room and laid-back bar with a patio – all ideal for meeting people to swap your stories with.

We're set in Venice Mestre, a 3-minute walk to the station of the same name, so you can reach the main Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia by train in 12 minutes. From here, you can wander to the intricate Piazza San Marco, Venice's central square with its famous clock tower, and soak up the history (while keeping an eye out for the pigeons). Venice Marco Polo airport's an easy 20-minute drive from the hostel.

Rooms and Dorms

All rooms have security lockers for your peace of mind, plus en-suites so you can roll out of bed and into a private hot shower. You can choose between female or mixed dorms, accessed by key cards, and linen's included, so your sleeping bag can stay rolled up. There's air-con, too, for those sweltering Italian nights, and a socket and handy reading light beside your bed for that irresistible late-night scrolling.

Extras and activities

We've got 24-hour reception and security, plus an ATM so you won't be short on cash. When you want to check in with home and send those pics of you next to a gondola, log onto our free Wi-Fi. There's luggage storage and a laundry room, including a washer and dryer, in case you need to start re-wearing your outfits. And when you get back with aching feet from a day exploring, skip the stairs and jump in the lift!

Fantastic stay at Anda Hostel. The hostel is very modern with very cool industrial style common areas. At night these areas become quite busy so as a solo traveller it is very easy to meet others but also the noise doesn’t carry upstairs so you can get a good night’s sleep if you wish. The beds are very comfortable and have a reading light and shelf to store your belongings. The hostel is located 2 mins from Venice Mestre which is a 10min train ride to the heart of Venice. Highly recommend!

Funky place to stay and hang out. Large lounge area downstairs and a bar that also sells slices of pizza. Rooms are nice and clean. Only thing is that the sinks are next to the beds- so can be quite loud when everyone is asleep. Staff were really kind and helpful. They helped us book a taxi for a super early flight out. Not sure about the credibility of who they have this relationship with though- we were told it would be around 30EUR but ended up paying 45EUR.

Over the past five years, I have stayed in hostels in Spain, Germany, France and Italy. The Anda hostel ranks in my top 3 for cleanliness, location, layout and overall happiness with a hostel. My only reminder is that I know staff at the front desk have a thankless job but being dismissive at times reflects poorly on a rating system. That is just a reminder as, again, this may be because of language barrier and not on personality. I am very pleased with Anda and have recommended to many people.

I had a great time at Anda Hostel. The hostel has a trendy look, and all the facilities were nice and clean. It had a social atmosphere and the food offered was good too. The hostel is super close to the bus and train stations, so it was easy to get around.

Staying here is the ideal option when wanting to see Venice on a bit of a budget. The hostel caters to young adults, and has a lot of social activities to get people socialising. As a solo traveller it was quite hard to push myself out there as there was a lot of groups, which can be intimidating. The only staff I talked to were the reception desk, who were helpful enough, just not really 1 on 1 kind of friendly, it was more like I was a bit of an inconvenience checking in. Overall, pretty good.

Amazing customer service. Both me and my friend booked separately and had unusual booking plans. The lady at the desk sorted it all out for us perfectly to make our lives as easy as she could and even managed to get us in the same dorm. Very clean everywhere and perfect amount of space in your own little pod area.
