Our hostel's in the 11th arrondissement, a 10-minute walk from the Place de la Bastille (a huge historical square full of eateries and an opera house) and less than 15 minutes from the Gare de Lyon train station. The Bastille neighbourhood is full of cool cocktail bars and chic restaurants. Our nearest Métro station is Ledru Rollin, where you can hop on line 8. If you're flying in, it takes about an hour to get to us from Charles de Gaulle and Orly, or just under 2 hours from Beauvais–Tillé.

It was great but the staff was very rude except for one girl in reception. Everything else was okay.

Nice hostel to stay in. The staff was very accommodating. The location is very near to the metro station. Good breakfast served everyday. Our room's heater was not working well during our stay. Overall, the hostel was excellent to stay. We had a good experience in this hostel.

Do not recommend this hostel, especially if you are traveling alone. I am a young woman and I felt very unsafe the entire time I was there. The first night I was bothered by a guy who kept asking me for my number and social media accounts. Some of them would stand outside of their room and try to start a conversation with you with the obvious intent of hooking up. I was in a mixed dorm room with three guys and on one night one of the guys woke me up to blatantly ask for sex. Terrible experience.

We stayed for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was good for our purposes, we chose it for the location, but overall I probably wouldn't stay again. It was cheap, but still expensive for what it was. As other people have noted, there was only one socket for charging in a dorm of four. One of the ladies on reception was lovely recommending a route to walk around Paris, the other wasn't that friendly and couldn't recommend anywhere to eat or drink locally. There was no where really to relax.

I know it’s the cheapest hostel in Paris but, I never stayed in the cheapest hostel with bad facilities. The problem I can’t charge my phone on my bad. I was stayed in 4 bedroom with one electricity, the room was full and we need to wait each others for charging:))

Someone vomitted on one of our beds and the next day the sheets were still stained because apparently they "don't change the sheets".

this is a WARNING to anyone who wish to book in this hostel! This hostel treats the guests as prisoners, and give an overall of awful service! 1) wifi is terribly slow and open for the guests ONLY between 15:00-1:00 in the common area, and from 15:00 to 23:00 in the rooms. 2) the rooms are CLOSED for the guests between 11:00 to 15:00! 3) the guests are required to bring back the key each time they go out, and ask for it in reception. 4)no kitchen for guests to use!

This was the probably one of the worst experiences at a hostel I have ever had. The beds were incredibly creaky, the sheets poorly fitted, and the en-suite toilet literally was covered by a sink. Furthermore, half of the staff didn’t speak English or at least to an understandable degree expected for an “International” Hostel. However, our biggest disappointment was that the 4 bed room had one power point. This made it near impossible to charge phones and other devices.
