Place and the vibe is good. some people have given bad reviews. But there is nothing like that. People who can’t adjust in hostel environment should not go to this place. You are not invited here go check some hotel as per your requirements. Rest people who are friendly and can adjust in hostel environment are most welcome.

We loved to stay at this place solely because of the staff. They were so supportive. We had an unfortunate accident and thanks to virraj, we felt at home. Thank you so much team backpackers in

We took the private rooms which were basic, but really nice. It had a great view of the hills. The hostel is barely 200 mtrs from the main market but quiet and private because of the stairs that you have to climb up (please don't take heavy suitcases! A backpack is a much better option). For the money we paid, this was way way cooler than we could expect. Rooms came with a kettle, heater, blankets etc so that you didn't have to step out for basics. There are also grocery shops close by.

I stayed at Backpackers INN last week with my friends. We were given a private room. The room was good and clean but the bathroom was little dirty. Their terrace view is amazing and uncomparable. The staff is friendly and decent. I would give this hotel 3.5 out of 5. 1.5 marks I will cut for cleanliness and hygiene. Rest is good :)

Pros: 1. Beautiful balcony and excellent view from the room 2. No power cuts, good wifi (perfect for workations) 3. Decent bathroom Cons: 1. Traveling from the hostel to the road is a tedious task as you need to climb over 100 stairs (one way). 2. The area around the hostel is not very hygienic. 3. No food service 4. Occasional room cleaning services

Don't stay here! The hostel manager, Ganesh, is rude and unprofessional. There is a HUGE water crisis in the whole hostel, there was no water in the basins or even in the toilets to flush on 5 of the 8 days I stayed there. The toilets and kitchen are filthy. There are only 2 plug-points in a dorm of 6 people, which obviously is not enough for charging laptops and phones. On requesting Ganesh to provide an extension cord, he said and I quote 'Why should I spend Rs 200 on that?' :/
