This hostel is awesome I don’t get the bad reviews. It’s off season so it’s not at its peak right now but the club is still open Thursday-Sunday. This place is a lot of fun and great for meeting people. There is a huge kitchen plus hammocks and a hot tub. The location is great too. The only issues are no cooking oil in the kitchen and the damn power outlets are broken in the room. Also just a tip if you want cheap groceries go shop at Lidl.

The place has a nice atmosphere. During our stay, the areas near the rooms were quiet and we had a good nights sleep. But, when you go down the atmosphere is so good. You won’t realise as time passes by. Good indoor games to relax. And, super clean for a party hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Interlaken itself is amazing - there’s so many things to do. Two of the staff are really amazing and give great tips and advice. The other two are a lot less engaged and will just hand you brochures if you want advice. I met so many great people at this hostel. It’s clean and has everything you need. The only issue is the power points are in one spot and not next to the beds and in some rooms there isn’t enough for every guest. But it’s a great hostel so who cares

Think Swiss frat house. Excellent facilities and cleanliness for the group this hostel serves. Also my buddy & I had an 8 person room to ourselves for 3 nights for the middle of the week! I jammed till late (once with the hostel staff too) for 2 nights and we had the smoking room outside wyldin’ for tunes Only downside I saw is that Kitchen is a bit under-equipped

good location, clean facilities and mostly nice staff(esp the male ones) Disappointing atmosphere. The hostel markets itself as a “party hostel” however the club and bar was closed. There were common areas but no activities going on. Yes, I understand that it may be off peak season. Jacuzzi and games room shut at 10pm. One particularly rude female staff turned off the lights in the game room and said “lights off means no games, pretty self explanatory”. What else are we supposed to do? Average

I was under the impression this was a party hostel because there is a club on site but there were two separate large groups of younger children which made the atmosphere really awkward. There was only a small safe in the room to store your valuables which was shared with all of the roommates so there was no point in using it. Super clean. Great location. I would stay again during peak season when I'm sure the atmosphere is better.

There was a lot of common areas for people to talk and socialize. Unfortunately, most of these areas were taken over by a bunch of children/preteens. The one evening they ran around yelling and being loud for at least 2 hours. I didn't sign up for children staying in a hostel. Also the kitchen area opens at 8 where the breakfast area is open before 8. 8 is a little late for people trying to leave to do a full day of hiking. Hostel is close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and bus stop.

    Very Good

This place was great and I would totally stay here again! Walking distance to everything in interlaken which was handy too. However, kitchen utensils definitely need an upgrade considering how many people are cooking meals. Another thing, I wish there was a bed light on each bed! Otherwise thanks for having me, I’ll be back :)

Instantly you lose a point for having check in/out times as 10am/3pm (get real it should be 11-2) I hate that reception closes for 3 hours during the day. I hate that all the powerpoints are useless and the plug falls out (get some decent European powerboards near each bed and in common areas !) Rooms were tight, and there were school children present. Things I liked: guitar, piano, table tennis, hammock rooms, kitchen, lots of common areas, close to supermarket. Not bad but needs improvement.

A decent hostel with good facilities about a 15 minute walk from either of Interlaken's stations. But the reputation of this place as a party hostel is one of the biggest lies I've seen. There's no night life here. The club isn't open. Hell, not even the bar was open so you could get a drink. And if that's not bad enough the place is absolutely full of kids. Interlaken is beautiful but don't come here expecting anything other than a generic hostel.
