This was my second stay at Benita and I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, nice hostel in a great location. The staff are lovely and gave me loads of useful info for the city. The communal areas, including the new roof terrace were great for socialising in a relaxed environment and as it’s a medium size, we were able to get to know everyone in the hostel and it felt like a little community. Great place to come back to after a day exploring the city.

This was one of the best hostels I stayed at during my travels so I decided to return one last time before flying home. It’s still the same friendly, social and quality place it was before but with one big improvement. They have since opened their amazing roof terrace which is an awesome place to hang out with the other guests. It’s like your ideal living room but outside and on an exceptionally large roof top which is kind of special in itself. Don’t miss this place when you visit BA!

Really enjoyed our stay at Benita! Definitely a more quieter hostel but not necessarily a bad thing. Really clean and nice facilities - would definitely recommend.

Benita Hostel is a small, family-run hostel in the heart of Palermo. There is a common room with a television and couch to chill as well as a kitchen and dining room. It was very clean and rather calm, despite it being located at a busy crossroad. The room we had was spacious, with lockers for every bed. There was a ventilator, but due to the hot weather it didn't really help much. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hostel with everything I needed in proximity to supermarkets and restaurants and public transport. This wasn’t an issue for me but if you’re a light sleeper probably not for you as there’s a busy intersection outside which can continue into the night. Also this isn’t a party hostel - nice quiet friendly atmosphere. Very chill. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

It was good, and cheap for the price, considering the area. But no English speaking staff during the mornings. The older gentleman was the one there, no offense he tried to communicate, and I did too, in Spanish, which he barely understood, it could have been nice if someone speaks or attends to the front desk at all times who spoke English, like any other hostels I have been.

The hostel in general has a great vibe, the staff was super friendly although I thought it was a bit weird that the second time we stayed a girl from England who was working the reception started to speak in English to us (me and my friend are latinas fluent in English so we have a natural instinct to respond to the language but in the end we are Latins staying in a Latin/Spanish speaking place).Beds could be more comfortable and its not located really nearby stuff to do.

great location! definitely it's better staying around Palermo, Not much of a backpackers atmosphere when I was there. For the money spent there the breakfast was very very poor!! The old guy in the morning that doens't speak english was a bit rude also.... maybe not the best choice around BA, but one of the best location (stayed in others 3 hostel)

The Hostel was ok. It is hard to find it at first because the name is not written on the house. So you have to look for the exact adress. The double room is veeery noisy since it's directly located near a big street and the windows are very bad. The breakfast was very basic. However, the hostel is located in a nice secure area with a lot of things to explore.
