Super friendly and welcoming staff! The breakfast was one of the best I had out there in a hostel. The hike to get here was a little challenging if not prepared with the right shoes/luggage (my friend had a difficult time with her carry on) but once you make it to the top, it’s worth it. Great views!

i loved my time at casa loma! i extended my stay for 2 extra nights (partly bc i was too lazy to lug all my stuff down the mountain lol) but also because i met a lot of good friends here. not the most social hostel, as most people are reading and are trying to chill out. it really depends on the travelers there at the time to turn the place into a more social joint. staff were super helpful during my stay and even helping me secure a ride to the airport at 4am! free filtered water was prime

THE FOOD!!! I can't believe I didn't see any reviews about the food on here. It was gourmet vegetarian and I will be thinking about that food forever! The walk up definity left us winded but they greet you with water at the top. The sunsets are amazing and on a saturday night we had live music which was a chill jam session after sunset. It was magical. The staff was friendly and remembered our names every night at dinner. We mets some of the best travels there as well. We highly recommend!

Spent the first two nights in a hammock and had a rough time sleeping: bugs were really loud, there were some animals fighting nearby and the hammocks themselves weren’t the most comfortable. Switched to a hut the last night which was really nice. Loved the vegetarian dinners the hostel does which have kind of a family dinner vibe and make meeting people really easy. Also one of the best spots to watch the sunset in the city

I was really happy that I chose to stay here! The hike up is tough but totally worth it. My cabin was nice with a super clean, comfortable bed and a bug net. The staff is very nice, helpful, and relaxed. The view of the mountains is, of course, stunning, especially for a jaw-dropping sunset. There's also a vegetarian restaurant in the hostel which is very convenient and the food is super delicious!

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Loma. It has an amazing relaxing vibe, perfect way to disconnect and connect with nature. Amazing views over the mountains, sunsets and Santa Marta. The food was really good (+ vegan :)!), especially the dinner, which unfortunately was only available once during my 6 nights stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have a really cute doggie and kitties. The cabin came with a light, plugs and a locker which was great. Would recommend staying here!

This place is okay for a one night stay. The hammocks are good value. The walk up to the hostel is very though especially with a big backpack on. There's no WiFi here at all. The sunset is lovely
