Absolutely amazing hostel. Don’t let the walk up put you off - it was amazing. The beds are comfy, it’s amazing sleeping Looking out over the forest and the food is a good price and out of this world. It’s very special all eating together and creates a great vibe. Highly recommend this place as it has a scheduled, social feel but the ability to easily get into Minca

Loved my stay at Casa Loma - highly highly recommend. Perfect place to chill out and read / play cards but also get active as there’s great waterfalls/view spots to walk to, morning yoga and other activities. Everyone there (staff and guests) were lovely and it had a real family feel. The view is incredible and the food is insane, definitely sign up to the evening meal - one of my best hostel experiences. And no WiFi is soo nice. Look forward to returning one day!

Spent two nights at Casa Loma and wow it was beautiful. Getting to the hostel involves a 10min strenuous hike with bags up the hill but definitely worth it !! We stayed in a private hut and loved every moment. Friendly staff, people, delicious food ! Definitely recommend the group dinner. Cute animals roaming the hostel - be careful they’ll steal your heart (specifically the beautiful two faced cat). Great places nearby to explore as well. Must stay place!!!

We had an amazing stay in Casa Loma. The staff are helpful and friendly - the food was delicious. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect - watching the sunset over Santa Marta and the mountains with some cold beers was exactly what we hoped our trip to Minca would entail. I highly recommend this hostel ad think you'd be missing out not to stay here.

Great atmosphere in the evenings. Small double cabana but very comfortable and a fair price. Fair prices at the bar although check your bill carefully when checking out, they corrected it with no fuss when we pointed out the error.

A really great and social hostel in Minca. The trek up the steps with your luggage is completely worth it when you get to the top and look of out at the view. Food in the hostel is amazing (all veggie with loads of vegan options) and it's so nice to sit down and eat with everyone in the evenings. The bar and atmosphere is great for meeting people as well. Only teeny tiny downside is the showers are very weak and freezing (like from a hose) but it's all part of the experience! 100% recommend

Was a bit disappointed with Casa Loma overall, we treated ourselves to the standard double but hadn’t realised there was no door, and you couldn’t stand upright without hitting your head. The toilets were 50m away which was an issue when we contracted a sickness virus whilst there, which we had learned 3 other people got this also at the hostel during our stay. The views were great and family style dinners nice, but think I would have opted to stay elsewhere if I went again.

    Very Good

After finally getting up the crazy number of stairs to get to Casa Loma enjoying the view was incredible. Stunning area however we got very sick from the water/food here and met several other people who also got sick from the same place.
