The most tranquil stay at Casa Loma! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; from the warmth of the staff, ease of location to some amazing dinner dishes served. Thank you for everything - the climb up was so worth it!

Gorgeous views, worth the hike up with the big bags! Really nice vibe to the hostel, perfect if you want to chillout/relax. Nice vegetarian food and cocktails at sunset were amazing. We were in a private hut which was nice but needed to bring own padlock to lock the door. Facilities are basic but you are in the middle of the jungle so more than sufficient! Morning yoga also good. Would highly recommend!!

You trade having WiFi (there is none and often no electricity at all) to have an incredible view whilst you eat and drink at the hostel. Rooms are very small so you bang your head all the time. Showers are very basic and ice cold. Evening meal is a three course meal with no choice that everyone eats together and is great. Another ecohostel so no meat. Steps up to the hostel are hard work but well worth it. The view is simply stunning. Get there in time for sunset.

Very cool hostel as per previous reviews! A good 10min walk uphill to get there but once there views are worth it. (Pack lightly!) Both breakfast and dinner were good and reasonably priced. Only issue/comment is that our 7 bed dorm was empty, except us two, despite it being fully booked on the website. We had only been able to book one night in advance, but in theory could probably have stayed longer if the systems were more accurate/updated! Either way would recommend!

Hammocks were surprisingly comfortable! It’s quite a walk up there but worth it for the views. The food in the evening was incredible! Bathrooms weren’t very clean

Beautiful location (worth the 15 minute climb). Private room was a bit pricey for what you got (essentially camping in an open hut, share washrooms). However overall a very cool experience. The communal dinners are an absolute must, so delicious! Staff was nice and helpful, and the hostel was very social.

At the top of this big hill. Actually carrying the bags up there is fine. But it does take about 10 mins to walk down into town and 15 back. Meant felt a bit trapped there. The food was nice but overpriced and vegan. Didn't fill me up. No wifi which was annoying when wanting to plan your trip Dorm room small. The redeeming quality was the sunset. It was one of the best I have ever seen. My recommendation is stay somewhere in town, pay less, have WiFi and come here for dinner and sunset n drinks
