This hostel is strange- guy at reception helped me book my taxi to the airport but wasn’t very communicative or friendly- despite speaking perfect English, I felt as though it was an inconvenience to him that I was there? Didn’t bother to show me my room or where there toilets / showers / kitchen was- I had to ask other guests to show me. It’s clean and cheap if you need somewhere to stay over before flying, but other than that I wouldn’t recommend

Honestly disappointing. I only stayed one night. The train that passes so often is super loud, Its almost impossible to sleep. The room was not very clean, like it hadn't been swept in weeks. staff were ... uninterested. Pointed us in the general direction of our room, pretty sure a guest ended up helping us find our room. all round, i wouldnt stay there again. good for a night if you want to be walking distance from the tracopa bus station, but better hostels for cheaper else where.

Worst hostel Ive stayed at in ages. The guy at reception couldnt find our booking and kept questioning us. He eventually found it but did not know where our 2 rooms were. He said 1 was across the pool & the other is downstairs, pointed to wrong stairs. It was pouring rain as we are trying to find our rooms in this maze. Eventually went back to reception and another woman was there & walked us to the rooms. Rooms were tiny like jail cells, ended with reception sending us to the wrong bus station

I literally arrived in the hostel during a lockdown where I couldn’t find one single store open in the city. I had a emergency which I need to use the phone from the hostel they did charge me 100 cólones per minute after 35 minutes on the phone about to solve my problem they pull out the cable from the phone and I lost my call and they wanted me to pay! Joke place. Hated, staff really rude except the cleaner girl super polite humble and nice. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone, also beds awful

Turned up at the hostel to find out it was shut because of Covid. Even though we had a booking we were not notified that it was shut. Untrustworthy, and didn’t receive a refund. Would not stay
