Fantastic hostel, clean, tidy and safe. Kitchen was really big. I loved the idea that it was a converted prison. Great location, less than 5 minute walk into town. Although no fault of the hostel, it was quite quiet when I went and therefore did not get much of a chance to interact/ meet new people. There were also quite a few families and older couples staying there. Having an en-suite bathroom on the dorm was ideal and a basic breakfast provided was just what you needed. Would stay again!

Pros: The hostel is in a great location with bars, restaurants and a supermarket located in walking distance. The kitchen is large and the hostel do different things each night (e.g. free dinner) which was fab. Cons: The hostel hold a lot of people and the walls are thin, which meant my friend and I were always woken up. Another is that the WiFi is only in communal areas and is still so bad. They make you pay for ‘premium WiFi’ ($5 a day) if you want a stronger connection and it’s still bad.
