Fantastic hostel, more like a hotel really but only £4 a night with breakfast. The dorms are very clean with comfy beds equipped with a fan, light and outlet and the en-suite bathrooms were great quality too! Only issue with this hostel is it is in a village that is pretty much derelict and you cannot walk to find a restaurant etc, so Grab is needed for everywhere. However, if you’re staying in Ha long to do the tours etc then this hostel is perfect to get a great nights sleep and see the sights

Lovely hostel, it’s very clean and a good size. Not a party hostel. Very relaxing. Could do with some comfortable seats in the dining area, not very comfortable to sit and have breakfast or a drink. Rooms are good size with two bathrooms. Good security.

Good and clean hostel. The stuff didn’t speak English too well and it was kind of far away from main attractions, but it’s good value for money

Sooooo cold at night in the dorms and you get a really crappy blanket on your bed that doesn't help much.

Couple renting a double room. This was one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in our entire trip. Huge room on the top floor, huge bathroom and not a wet room either. We only stayed here 2 nights to do a boat tour but the tour we organised through them was the cheapest I found anywhere and it was a full day and great. I’d recommend booking the full day boat and kayak trip. Breakfast wasn’t too great; only eggs and toast which they cooked for you.

Would be much higher but the hostel is not where the hostel appears on Google Maps so when trying to research where to go, everything was at least 30 minutes walk further than it had been on there. Located in a weird ghost town Sun Premiere Village which is still being built, it is a great hostel located in a poor place. Staff were nice, breakfast was decent, showers were good, just frustrating that if you wanted to go to town it was a big walk.

The rooms are fine but the staff in the hostel cannot speak English at all. They did neither understand when we ordered water nor could they understand "Cash or Credit Card". Ordering breakfast was also via Google Translate. Summed up: The rooms are fine but the neighborhood is a ghosttown and the staff not able to communicate.

I found the people that run this hostel to be pretty rude. The dorms were ok but they didn't assign me a bed or give me a key to my locker. I had to ask for everything that at most places is provided for me. The bathrooms didn't have TP or soap. There were also mosquitos in all of the bathrooms. The room was nice and cold and it was was within walking distance of the beach.

The hostel itself is really good. But theres is no other people, only some vietnamese workers that stays one night to go to work. Therefore there is no atmosphere and it is a ghost town, so the nearest restaurant is 15 min walk away and the hostel has like five dishes you can order. I wouldn’t stay in that area again, don’t stay in Ha Long town, just take a Cruise and go back to Hanoi. Maybe in 10 years the city will be developed. The hostel was fine and staff was very sweet!
