Hair on the bedding and an old make up brush on the head side of the mattress in the box. The door of the room sometimes didn’t close. The hostel was basically empty. The staff didn’t speak English (google translate worked though) but they were really nice.

one of my favourite hostels. the owner is so sweet and helpful, laundry was really quick, beds are super comfy with their own fans! located on a quiet pretty street but can walk to restaurants. everything is clean, good common area.

Very attentive, friendly and kind staff. Hostel situated away from main city in hotel district, much quieter but easy to source taxis if heading into town. Staff are able to organise Ha Long Bay tours / motor bike hire and transfers easily. Only negative was that there was no security for valuables that I could see. Otherwise very good value for money if you’re looking for a quieter hostel in Ha Long Bay 👍🏼
