My hostel experience was amazing. I love the city & the hostel was a great base from which to explore. My trip would not have been as wonderful as it was without the help of Evan. I’ve stayed at many hostels & I’ve never met a staff member as great as him. I highly recommend booking a bed here!!

The location is a bit out of the way, but it helps in feeling safe in that there's enough well-lit roads you can walk to get back from at night. Staff was great and helpful with local knowledge, including where to eat and drink depending on your interests. Would definitely book again the next time im here.

As a female solo traveller, this was all I needed. Staff was great. They even offer free tours on Saturday morning that are flexible to what you are interested in and took me places outside of the city center that I would not have seen otherwise. Renting a bike was the best and easy with the city bike lanes. As I was on the top bunk of a bunk bed, it would have been nice to have ladder (I climbed using the side post) and a spot to put personal items up top, but overall it was lovely. Thank you!

    Fabulous

This was a cozy, clean, and comfortable stay! The staff was friendly and so were other travelers that stayed there. I loved the atmosphere and facility - there were so many lounging areas and common rooms (kitchen/dining space that connected the dorm rooms, reading chairs, benches/couches, another dining table on the first floor, a bench outside etc.). I would definitely stay here again!

    Fabulous

Only stayed for one night here but it was a great experience! The beds are fantastic - soft sheets, comfortable, very private. Bathrooms were spacious and it was nice having multiple kitchen options. Overall it was clean with enough quirkinesses to make it a fun hostel. One thing is I wish they would put outlets in each of the bunks. The only outlets I saw in the room were being used by other people. Other than that it was fantastic!

Very quirky little hostel in Detroit. The rooms don't have locks which is a little strange otherwise fairly clean nice place to stay.
