Hostel Detroit

The Hostel is very Charming , my only concern was cleanliness and security . The building could use a really good deep clean and dusting. It was cob webs and bugs in my room and the bathroom was wet and covered in dirty towels,very unhygienic. It’s way too many people for the showers not to be getting cleaned throughout the day and it’s no staff available late night until late afternoon. So if emergency happens , YOUR ON YOUR OWN! The furniture is kind of grimey and needs to be sanitized

One of America’s premier eclectic hostels. The place is a 503(c) organization that is very close to the heartbeat of the community. Staff will go out of their way to search or suggest events for you to do based on your interests. Facilities are immaculately maintained. Bike rental for $20 is extremely useful. The wooden bed frames make a lot of noise, but you can always ask for ear plugs. My favorite part was learning about the resilient history and identity of Detroit based on their literature

This was wonderful! Super super clean & quiet (I think I was one of the few people there, which is exactly what I wanted - it’s definitely not a party house, or at least wasn’t when I was there!). I loveddd the security - no keys, just a personalised code. Would stay here again! Thanks so much!
