The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful with what you might need. The bedroom I stayed in had three beds without covers, and there was no individual lights, only the one in the ceiling, so if one person wants to go to bed earlier he/she would need to go to sleep with lights on at the beginning. No problems with A/C in the rooms, it was very refreshing. The biggest problem in my opinion was the location, a little too far to walk back and forth between Rome's city centre

The hostel is nice, specially for young people. Met some amazing people there and the staff is really nice. There are no lockers in the room but I had no problem. Trastevere is a little far from the touristic sites but the nightlife is amazing and everything is way cheaper than Downtown. Would definitely come back.

Cool location, Trastevere isn’t too crowded as it’s a little out of the main tourist area but still super easy to travel in and out from there. The hostel it’s self was really clean and comfortable, the rooms didn’t have lockers but we didn’t seem to have an issue as all the doors lock automatically and you need a key to get in. Breakfast was €5 which wasn’t too bad but not that elaborate of a spread to be charging for it to be honest. They did have a free dinner night which was pretty sweet.

Long walk to city center if you do not want to use public transit. Had a room change during my stay which was an inconvenience. A solid hostel though.

Good hostel. Kitchen area was okay. Nice eating area inside and outside. Rooms were good and beds were comfy. Breakfast available for €5. Showers left a little to be desired. Water pressure not great, and the plug hole was a little blocked. This meant that the floor around the shower was quite wet and the shower flooded. The place wasn't perfectly clean (marks on walls and one dirty blanket). However, staff were very helpful when it came to any problems. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

When I asked the staff for suggestions of places to eat/ places to see in Rome they offered no help and instead pointed out to the map and advised to self navigate. There was also no free dinner as was advertised. I didn’t feel there was much of a social atmosphere. The room itself was clean and cleaned daily. The downstairs common area is under renovation which is loud and a lot of dust around.

The reviews really don't give a fair impression of this hostel. On arrival the receptionist was so rude, every question was a hassle for her even dealing with my booking, so didn't extend. The reviews which mention free food ect - not a thing. The atmosphere is lacking to say the least. What bar? Its new but the cleanliness is poor I could feel the dirt on the floor in our room and the bathroom was damp. Kitchen unclean. Location not great - transport links were awkward. Yellow 100% better.

First thing I would recommend is to check the Google reviews for this location, it may give you a starting point on what to expect. Cliffsnotes since I have 500 characters: Hundreds of ants in my shower, no offer for a discount or even a apology. Simply a promise that by spraying the shower down with a nice harsh chemical it would deal with it. Bright side no more ants. Not so bright side my lungs were not happy sleeping there. Also do not expect there to be easy outlets in your room.
