Place is occupied by young people which is ok but they should be told to close doors more quietly, still liked the environment, would stay again

I stayed in one of the private sleeper cabins for five nights. The cabin itself was nice, although if you are older I'd request a lower one as the beds are probably four feet up. The ventilation could have been a lot better, as the only window opened directly in front of the head of the bed, so one couldn't sleep without exposing themselves. Bar was packed every night I was there, so if you're into nightlife this is a great place. The train stop is a two minute walk from the front door.

Super cool hostel. Lots of French people crowd the bar so you get an authentic French experience. They’re really persistent about only having food and drinks from the hostel inside which sucks because the food is very expensive. Other than that it’s great. Close to the metro so you can be in the city center with 15 minutes or so

Kitchen wasn't that good, there were no utensils for example. Food they offered was nice. The bar is more like a local thing too, not really a hostel vibe. The hostel felt more like a hotel to me, if you're with a group I guess it's fine. Neighborhood is not amazing, you take the metro to go to the nicer areas. Staff is nice, the cleaning man always says "bonjour" and it's also very well priced.

The hostel is pretty far outside of Paris but that's why it's so cheap. The place itself seems very cool, a lot of common areas and they even have a rooftop terrace. Sadly there was little to no atmosphere because most of the people were there for work

Check out is 10am!! Wtf The hostel itself is very nice, has a cool bar, nice patio, rooftop, awesome beds and bathrooms. But the location is just…not it. It’s in a more rough area then most of inner paris. Gentilly is outside the paris area so you have to book 2 metro tickets everytime or metro agents will give you a ticket. Found out hard way lol Also, many metros skip Gentilly as a stop and just keep going another 5 stations. Also found out hard way. Towels $4, Late chk $10

    Very Good

    23 Jul 2021
Interesting concept. New building, in a safe area and spacious. Everything easy and practical for the guest. Being located out of the transportation Paris Zone 1 will make you spend more in transportation. Common area at the ground is nice which includes restaurant, social area and some games. The kitchen, on the 7th floor has no pans, forks, plates, etc. Poor and messy. It was not designed to allow you to cook there. Issues with the internet, on the days I stayed.

The location is just outside of Paris which makes it difficult to go see everything. The hostel has a club feel, with all of the neon lights in the halls and the bar being open to the public. I never saw anyone actually cleaning besides in the main lobby area, the floors were always dirty. The beds were uncomfortable and the private room was so small you had to force the door open to move past the mattress. This place would be great if you’re a young student looking to party.

The decorations was really good but the guest kitchen was a really mess and nusty. We told to the guy in the reception, but the situation get wrong during the following days. I think that as they sell food in that bar, they don't care about the people that whang to cook by themselves. I thinks that if they aren't willing to keep the kitchen clean, they shouldn't offer at all (we buy some stuff to cook during our stay and we couldn't use it because it was really nasty)

The hostel was crowded by non stayers for a party, i was verbally offended by a member of the staff who shouted at me to leave the terrace without any respect. I told him that i was a guest and not interested in the party but he just shouted. I reported the problem to the manager and asked for a solution as i paid for a stay in a hostel not a party with offensive staff, i asked for at least an apology : the manager just refused. The hostel has a good potential, but deserves better management !
