Our favourite place so far!!! We booked the private room which had its own little balcony and we had the view of the basilica and street. We went down the street and had lunch at Bouillon Pigalle. Amazing food. Bit pricy, but worth it to try at least once. Staff were great Emma checked us in and answered all our questions about where to go and what to do. If you are going to the airport when leaving I suggest you give yourself 2hours or more to get through the city.

Great place, very helpful staff. Location is really convenient close to metro and bus stops. Also 10min walk to the Nord (Central train station) walking distance to sacre coeur. The montmartre area has a lot of character and great food places

Pretty good hostel. There weren't a lot of outlets in the rooms which made charging everything difficult. If there were outlets they were high up on the ceiling and difficult to reach. Our bathroom was in a separate room which made it awkward at night when you needed to use the bathroom late at night or early in the morning.

Lovely friendly, family type of atmosphere. Staff were helpful also great location! Not far from the Eiffel tower - if it's a nice day can walk there. Beds were quite comfortable and cosy. Could do with bathmats in the shower.

Le Regent is a wonderful hostel! I enjoyed my stay there very much. The location was beautiful, my balcony overlooked Sacré Coeur. I had an overall very positive stay. I felt safe and the rooms were clean. The only downside was one shower for an entire floor.

    Fabulous

Very easy to get to, across the street from the metro stop, no getting lost on the first day getting in. The metro line it’s on will likely require a transfer to another line to get to most of what you need, but still quick to most locations via metro, bus or foot. Loved Montmartre and how close it is to the Basilica although it’s a bit doggy, but plenty of activity on the streets to make me feel safe. Comfy beds, kitchen is too small, breakfast and laundry are over priced. Worth the stay.

The staff was very helpful and loved that the location was close to beautiful Montmarte as well as two metro stations making it easy to get around. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom for our 6 person room was so tiny. The shower was horrible. Only covered by a small curtain which led to water spilling onto the floor every time you used it. Other than that the bed was super comfy and enjoyed my stay.

I am a solo traveler and mobile battery is my life during travel. The worst thing about this hostel is that it had ONE SOCKET for the dorm of 4 people and that to near the roof. Because of this i could not charge my battery or mobile. Hence my experience in Paris was not good as i had to depend on the charging ports available at the bus stops wasting significant time. I will never recommend this hostel for a solo traveler.
