Hostelworld says

Set in a beautiful 18th Century monastery, you'll likely find yourself seduced by the charm of this hostel. As one guest said, 'I was only meant to stay here a couple of nights and ended up staying for two weeks'. The Milhouse Hostel is fantastic for travellers looking to make friends. The bar is cheap and well stocked and always lively with fellow adventurer's looking for a chat or to buddy up. What's more, the roof terrace offers amazing views of the city, to make that beer extra special. Be sure to try the food - mud-oven baked pizza, anyone?

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Milhouse! Great atmosphere, awesome bar upstairs and everything from food to alcohol/ non alcoholic drinks are very reasonably priced. The staff was great and the activities they organize every night really help create a fun atmosphere for people to meet! Comfy beds, hot showers. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best hostels I stayed at. It’s spacious, has a lot of natural light, bug common areas, a great location and very comfy beds. The energy of the hostel is great, and that is thanks to the amazing and super friendly staff. They have a lot of volunteers working, most of them are also travelling and are always ready to help you and to share their stories and experiences with you. The only thing is that there is no kitchen if you want to make your own food. Thanks so so much Milhouse!

Great hostel in a good location! They offer a nice breakfast which always helps! Room sizes are big. We used This as our base before & after the salkantay Machu pichu trek. However I did not book my trip through the hostel, the guy at the agency shop in the hostel was rude, unhelpful and over priced. Definitely stay here but book your trips elsewhere...

    Very Good

It was fine but 100 soles a night is not worth it. We reserved a private but it was next to lockers and a bench, so a lot, a lot, A LOT of noise! But if you're young enough, I guess you'll love the place. The patio is really nice and staff lovely.

Really wanted to like this hostel but several issues keep me from giving it a better score. Milhouse’s the website ad makes no mention of the fact they are right next to a music venue, where ridiculously loud music keeps you up all night, every night. I’m not the first to comment on this and in prior reviews Milhouse responded that they were taking it up with the authorities to fix. Both times I’ve been in the bar, It took 20 minutes to get a drink or never got service and left.
