Hostelworld says

Set in a beautiful 18th Century monastery, you'll likely find yourself seduced by the charm of this hostel. As one guest said, 'I was only meant to stay here a couple of nights and ended up staying for two weeks'. The Milhouse Hostel is fantastic for travellers looking to make friends. The bar is cheap and well stocked and always lively with fellow adventurer's looking for a chat or to buddy up. What's more, the roof terrace offers amazing views of the city, to make that beer extra special. Be sure to try the food - mud-oven baked pizza, anyone?

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Milhouse. The hostel and bar are great but the real standout here are the staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable time. George and Israel are legends and special thanks to Cecilia on the tour desk for the incredible paragliding experience she organised for me. Would recommend to anyone coming to Cusco! :)

Really enjoyed this hostel! Dorm room was spacious, beds were large and comfortable and had about a third screened off for privacy. Had individual chargers and large lockers. Shower had hot water. Wifi was great. There are two large courtyards, and also a bar which holds social events each night, however it was still quiet enough to sleep really well! There is also a tour agency that you can book through which is convenient. And luggage storage is ticketed so that your stuff is really safe!

Nice friendly atmosphere, with lot of space to hangout. Except for in my 6-bed shared e dorm room, the upper bunk beds do not have even half the height of lower bunks, felt a bit claustrophobic, can’t sit up straight. Other than that, everything was great!! :)

Really good hostel, nice clean rooms with hot water. Friendly and helpful staff and in a good location not far from the main plaza. Was hard to get a good night sleep due to loud people leaving the bar at 2am and a lot of groups meeting early in the morning (430/5am) for activities or excursions and gathering in the courtyard.

    Good

Although the Milhouse hostel is in a great location and the actual layout of the hostel is very cool, it is a very loud hostel. My friend and I booked a private room because we were going to do trekking in nearby areas, and it was very difficult to sleep. We stayed in room 112 which was right by the walkway to the bar, and the windows / walls were very thin and you could hear full conversations of people hanging around. It was not good for people actually wanting to rest and sleep.
