Hostelworld says

Set in a beautiful 18th Century monastery, you'll likely find yourself seduced by the charm of this hostel. As one guest said, 'I was only meant to stay here a couple of nights and ended up staying for two weeks'. The Milhouse Hostel is fantastic for travellers looking to make friends. The bar is cheap and well stocked and always lively with fellow adventurer's looking for a chat or to buddy up. What's more, the roof terrace offers amazing views of the city, to make that beer extra special. Be sure to try the food - mud-oven baked pizza, anyone?

Milhouse was such a wonderful stay. They have great prices as well as an excellent staff. The staff is so welcoming and speak fantastic English for those that don't speak Spanish. They immediately knew my name and were so helpful. Also, there is a bar upstairs for those that want to be social and drink, however if you want to go to bed early and stay in your room, the hostel stays very quiet. Overall a fantastic stay. I highly recommend.

The Milhouse staff makes this place feel like home and made it a place I wanted to keep coming back to. They were accommodating, fun and always had chill vibes. It felt comfortable and less “corporate” than mainstream hostels. There’s always something fun happening at the bar in the night, but it’s not too wild, so if you’re looking to get a good nights sleep before a trek, it’s not a problem. The beds are comfortable, and it was nice to have an on-suite bathroom in the dorms.

One of the best organized hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable rooms, good free breakfast, and really central location in the heart of Cusco. But more than anything else the staff made this place amazing. Shoutout to Juan who was a huge help as I planned a solo trek. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this hostel! It has nice, spacious rooms, great staff and includes breakfast, which is always a plus :). We extended our stay here a few times, because it really has a nice atmosphere and there is just so much to do around Cusco. The location is great, close to the historical city centre and San Pedro market. Would recommend!

Great facilities and good breakfast, private room was big! Best location! Hot showers and fast wifi. In-house travel agents however the male travel agent was a complete misery! And tried persuading us against booking tours that we were intrested in.

Loud! The bar plays music loudly into the night in the attempt to be a party hostel. Not recommended to those with early day trips.

It was fine but 100 soles a night is not worth it. We reserved a private but it was next to lockers and a bench, so a lot, a lot, A LOT of noise! But if you're young enough, I guess you'll love the place. The patio is really nice and staff lovely.

It could be a nice hostel, but unfortunately directly next to our room a band was having a concert - to us it felt as if it were playing in our room. Even after the band stopped at 3.30 AM (on a weekday night!) the music did not stop. Avoid this hostel if you want to have some sleep in the night!
