Hostelworld says

Set in a beautiful 18th Century monastery, you'll likely find yourself seduced by the charm of this hostel. As one guest said, 'I was only meant to stay here a couple of nights and ended up staying for two weeks'. The Milhouse Hostel is fantastic for travellers looking to make friends. The bar is cheap and well stocked and always lively with fellow adventurer's looking for a chat or to buddy up. What's more, the roof terrace offers amazing views of the city, to make that beer extra special. Be sure to try the food - mud-oven baked pizza, anyone?

We absolutely loved this place! This was by far the best hostel we stayed at in Peru. There were activities every day for guests. Free breakfast! The staff was amazing. They have computers for guests to use as well. In house travel agency. Cute decor. + Every room has its own wifi so you have good connection. All around 10/10.

My friends and I absolutely loved the Milhouse! The staff was funny, patient, and helpful, especially Charlie! We had hot hot showers the entire time. The atmosphere and vibe was great if you’re looking for a social environment, but you can also get away from it if you want by getting a suite room which is in a slightly separate building. There’s a crepe shop attached to it that gives free coffee and tea. It’s walking distance from everything. Clean everything. Highly recommend!

Really comfortable large beds in the family rooms. We stayed in a building next to he main hostel which has recently been renovated. Showers were excellent and hot. Staff were helpful and location was perfect, less than 5 mins to the main square.

I had a bad cold, & was early for check in. The staff were so amazing & friendly and let me rest in the TV room until my room was ready, they even got me into a dorm early so I could sleep, which I was so grateful for. I only stayed 1 of 3 nights, because I checked myself into another hostel with a private room to get better. There seemed to be lots of cool activities happening, & I’m sad I didn’t get to experience more of Milhouse! Would stay here again on the kindness of the staff alone!

Hostel is a in a great location, close to the main plaza. Staff was really helpful. Only issue was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear party music blasting long after we tried to go to sleep. But if you want to stay in a party hostel, it's probably really fun! Also, awesome breakfast.

    Very Good

Staff is great, but I was told the female dorm that I reserved may or may not stay that away, Unacceptable. First room was filled with mold. Second room, clean but faced the street so obnoxiously loud. No one respected the Quiet Hours, so no sleep was to be had on that front either. This is a party hostel. Be ready to party. Stay elsewhere if you enjoy quiet and rest.

Do not book this Hostel. I found a bed bug in the bed on the evening of my second night. I took a picture of it, zoomed in and compared it to bed bugs on google images. It was indeed a bed bug. The woman hosts response was that the property gets fumigated once a year. The guy host was more empathetic. Granting us a refund for our second night and giving us the option to move rooms. We chose to take the refund and find another room.
