Hostelworld says

Set in a beautiful 18th Century monastery, you'll likely find yourself seduced by the charm of this hostel. As one guest said, 'I was only meant to stay here a couple of nights and ended up staying for two weeks'. The Milhouse Hostel is fantastic for travellers looking to make friends. The bar is cheap and well stocked and always lively with fellow adventurer's looking for a chat or to buddy up. What's more, the roof terrace offers amazing views of the city, to make that beer extra special. Be sure to try the food - mud-oven baked pizza, anyone?

Ótimo hostel. Bem localizado. Quartos limpos. Camas super confortáveis. Quartos bem silenciosos. Equipe do Hostel super atenciosa. Café da manhã bom, pena que não tem uma máquina para tostar o pão. Recomendo.

    Fabulous

Location is really good and the stuff are so friendly and attentive. The bar was quite awesome as well. The rooms were clean, and the common bathroom was really decently cleaned. However the rooms were a bit basic. The plug next to my bunk bed was wiggly and my charger couldn’t hold. If there were some better beds or overall room facilities, I would Max the rating. I still recommend it, though.

Odd because it didn't seem to come across as a party hostel but it's definitely one of the loudest hostels I've stayed in. Might want to avoid sleeping here if you have to get up at 4am for a trek the next day

    Good

What a massive disappointment. The private rooms are in a separate building, so if you're going for the social atmosphere, you won't see much of it. I booked a private ensuite but got a room with no bathroom. The bathroom I was pointed to didn't have soap or toilet paper. Getting the breakfast was quite a challenge: something (plates, mugs, fruits, hot water etc) were always missing and had to wait a lot for them to be restocked. Cleaning lady came in the room before checkout, without knocking.

Good locker space in dorms. However our bathroom stank the whole time and the food at the bar was revolting. However we got free sushi from playing in a beer pong tournament. Good location too

I would not recommend staying here. We booked and paid for a private room with en-suite bathroom. When we arrived, we were sent to a different building (the only reason we had booked this was the cool looking courtyard) with no amenities. Our bathroom was in the hallway (even though we paid for en-suite). When we talked to the staff, all they said was that all en-suite rooms were booked. Room was facing a very busy street. Very noisy.
