Bunk beds in large rooms, traditional floor mats in small rooms. Fun, even if small, common area. 7 eleven right on the corner or purchase drinks and snacks from staff.

Beds were comfy, dorm was a little cramped but you still get a little corner of privacy to yourself because of the room set up. If you self cater like us the kitchen here is tiny but doable. Location was really good. Staff were really helpful on restaurant recommendations. Overall really good value for money (for Japan!)

Pretty good over all. The staff were really nice and helpful even though they didn’t speak much English. I had a bed on the top floor, was comfy but felt like I was cramped into the space with no where to put my bags. But aside from that was excellent.

This was a great place to socialise. The shared rooms were big but there was privacy and the staff there are wonderful. I enjoyed the location it was within walking distance to major train stations for a JR pass holder.

I really didn't have space to put my stuff in my large dorm with many guests while I happen to get top bunk. Be mindful there is lots of stairs and you may have to end up carry your suitcases up and down. There is enough common area to chill. It was a good location for me as a layover night before heading out to the next town and catch the train. Convenient location.

Almost everyone staying here were Japanese businessmen. As a solo traveler, I was unable to make any friends. Special shoutout to the guy who, between computer business meetings, randomly put his jacket on over his head and ran around yelling, “I’m japanese!” He was great! Fine hostel, wouldn’t tell people not to stay here, but wouldn’t highly recommend it either. Slept fine and the showers were good.
