    Superb

Great location in downtown LA that’s close to the Metro. Very easy to get around to most popular destinations. The staff was very nice. The place was very clean and the pod arrangements were very comfortable. They have community food and drinks available all day. My only issue was one visitor was on some kind of drugs making strange noises all night. It seems like whenever I stay in California hostels I run into one of these types of people. Other than that my stay was pleasant and I’ll be back.

Very cool set up, lots of space offered in the bed and only hostel I've seen that includes a TV in the bed. Very friendly staff.

This was the most laid-back hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm on a RTW trip so I've been staying in a ton of hostels, and this one was so chill and friendly. Everyone was helpful, and there wasn't a lot of forced interaction. It had everything I needed and included a great nights' sleep! Thank you for being the place I'll stay next time I'm in L.A.!

    Fabulous

I only stayed one night in the Podshare Arts District and it was an overall super easy stay. My bed was comfortable, lovely staff and a fun place to stay. The only downside was that there wasn’t really a safe place to put all my bags for when I wanted to go out and my bed was directly next to another persons so I got no privacy.

I asked for late check in prior to arrival which was agreed by staff by email, and they advised I'd receive late check in instructions on the day. However when I arrived around midnight there were no instructions. The staff member that woke up around 5.30am was helpful though. However this is a very strange hostel. No privacy anywhere, including toilets and showers with bifold slatted wooden doors. The beds had only a sheet and very thin small blanket. Freezing & Difficult to sleep

The only good thing about this place was the staff, they are friendly. The location isn’t convenient it’s far from public transportation and places of interest and not safe if you’re returning at night. No rooms, just one big space with bunk beds. The other guests are hoarders. The kitchen is small and there’s only one table to eat. The bathrooms are awful. The only 2 showers and two toilets for 20 people. It is super overrated.

Many people stay here long term (months) so they are chummy, but for tourists, it can be a little unsettling because it can be a bit messy. I wouldn't say dirty because hygienically, it is okay. However, one person who is a long term "resident" did mention that someone got the flu months ago and EVERYONE in the hostel was sick for 6 weeks. And one guest, complained about "bites" so he moved out. There was one stinky guest who passed gassed throughout the night.

I think I was mosty drawn to the artsy design of the place, everything else I’ve experienced was just a disappointment. The hostel is a converted warehouse so not very well insulated, noisy street behind the garage door in your bedroom, industrial clothes dryers working at 5am behind a thin wall, if someone smokes a joint you can smell it literally in the entire facility. Dirty kitchen, disgusting microwave. Clogged toilets with no privacy. Good location.

Very anxious and rude staff member named Elle. It's a no-privacy open floor plan. It wasn't for me. They have only two toilets and two showers. There is only one sink in the entire hostel - so you have to brush your teeth in front of everybody. It's very hard to sleep there; there's is a local light rail train that starts coming by at about 4am and makes a honking noise every 30 minutes. The other staff members were fantastic. But, as I say, this place wasn't a match for me.
