The guy responsible for overseeing the place could indeed be friendly, which he wasn't and more accommodating when requesting a towel, wanting to know where exactly the utensils were etc. When I got back from my evening travels and went to the community room to have my late-night snack, the lights on both levels were off after midnight and I couldn’t find a switch to turn them on to have it. Bed is great, the place was secure, and I had great roommates thankfully.

It's more expensive compared to other properties in the area and for the value you get. There's not much privacy, so if you're someone who needs that, this is not the place as it's all pretty open and co-ed. The place is a little messy, but overall its clean enough. Make sure you book your entire stay through Hostelworld because they will make you extend through their personal link at a higher rate. They told me "We have bills to pay" which tells me they care more about $$$ than the customer.

I left soon after arriving. I hope this isn't unfair, but I left before staying the night because it felt so unsafe and the vibes were way off. I am not a fancy/picky traveller, but this just felt creepy. The staffed reception hours were weird, so having nobody to reassure me of the safety of the place, I felt really creeped out. There was definitely good outer security, with coded gates, but the inside being so open and unclean kind of looked like a halfway house with permanent guests.
