overall enjoyable experience...had to wait awhile after the check in time, but that’s because they were taking extra time to clean. the bar atmosphere is incredible & so was the view out of our window. the chefs & staff love their work & are always on top of things. lots of bathrooms! in a relatively suburban area where you can find corner stores, food, coffee, & two huge parks down the road. not too far from the bigger stuff. try the ginger beer!

Great stay! The room was compact but perfectly comfortable. Food in the pub is great. Good space to chill and easy to work on a laptop. Staff lovely! Remember to bring your own towel as they cant be rented (can buy for £5 though) Great value.

Nice hostel and a plus that’s it’s attached to a pub. It’s close to a city bike station but other than biking it’s a trek to downtown

Overall, I had a fantastic stay at The Crown. Very good value for money in a fantastic location in London. Staff were helpful and welcoming also! The only thing I think that would have made it better is if there were laundry facilities on site as I was always a back late and away early which meant I generally missed the dry cleaners just down the road.

    Very Good

Smaller place but with Friendly staff. I arrived very late and they were very nice. Room was super hot though as I was on the top 3rd bunk and the windows have little to no air flow so I just kinda sat their and sweated.

We stayed at the hostel for 3 nights and each night was quite interesting ... if you are looking for a place to rest after the whole day of sightseeing, it’s not a good choice. Location however, superb.

It was fine for my one night stay. Not somewhere if you're trying to meet people. Pub downstairs in nice, but the demographic is mostly older men. Good beer, okay food. Super nice staff. Bathrooms are gross, no ventilation and the windows are sealed shut so it stays steamy and wet permanently. Two plugs for every bed and a shelf for convenience. Good location for getting south or to Gatwick. Great bus system nearby with a stop in front of the hostel.

This hostel was our least favorite of our trip. It isn't anyone's fault but the layout of the place was just not good. 3 tier bunk beds were super uncomfortable. Feels like you're in a coffin and we personally just had really bad roommates. They sprayed stuff and we would have trouble breathing and one even tried to have s** with someone they brought in from the outside underneath me. This hostel is you get what you pay for, but it really wasn't great. Dirty bathrooms and even found a bed bug.

The hostel itself is okay. the pub and the seating area are the nicest part of it. There's no way to cool the rooms in Summers and the washrooms don't have a decent body wash, plus they are more often than not dirty. The food in the pub was awful!
