This hostel was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights in London! It was a bit far out of the city but there were many bus lines that can take you straight into the city or to the tube station. Everything was super clean and the staff was super friendly. The other hostel-goers were super friendly and it was so easy to make friends! I would really recommend a stay here, I greatly enjoyed my time!

We had a great stay, only a few comments - staff were lovely but not as knowledgeable regarding local attractions as most other stays. No kitchen facilities available for making tea coffee prep of our own food - free (had to be purchased from small cafe type on site. Other than that it was clean, friendly, comfortable and warm. Lots of stairs if you are hauling a big bag.

This place is great if you are a group of 30+ middle schoolers, which is what their main clientele was for both nights I stayed here (I’m 25). For a solo traveler this is a rough stay in dark, old, small sleeping quarters, and even smaller bathrooms wrecked by hoards of kids. The common areas are awesome but turned into 8th grade socials. I realize the other guests are no fault of the hostel, but with the price point I’m sure this happens a lot and is hard to separate the two in this case.

Hostel was ok nothing special would stay again. There was a large group of school children staying at the same time, it would have been nice to have been informed on check in to expect lots of noise and screaming.

I stayed three nights at "Restup London" the room was horrible we literally slept on the floor. the bathroom was very small and did not work at all well, we did not have how to heat something to eat we could only buy what she sold. Neither was there a comfortable place to go for a rest ... they have a lot to improve.

WiFi didn’t reach my room, elevator was out of service, had to lug my heavy suitcase up 5 flights of stairs. Inadequate bathrooms for number of rooms-my bathroom was on the opposite end of the building. I was dissatisfied overall.

One of the more disappointing hostel experiences I’ve had yet. Staff was pretty dismissive of us. Talking to them was like speaking to an uninterested government worker who’s ready to quit their job. Is being polite too much to ask. Customer in front of us couldn’t even get help to find the restroom. Pictures don’t represent this place very well. WiFi is NOT available in your room. Beds are TERRIBLE. They might as well be yoga mats. Location is good. Buses, trains and places to eat close by.

Our experience was not enjoyable and we ended up leaving after one night instead of staying for the second night we had booked. Security is nonexistent, anyone can come in the gate at anytime. Checkin staff was nice but not overly helpful. We were assigned top bunks, I asked if I could please use a lower bunk and the staff said no, even though they remained empty. Children ran screaming through the halls starting at 5am. Asked staff to help and they would not. Definitely would not recommend.
