Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Great atmosphere, big and clean rooms and super comfortable beds. If I come back to Stockholm at some point, I will stay here again.

Great facility, super clean and awesome location when staying in Stockholm. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice mix of guests. Onsite cafe is great for when you don't feel like cooking yourself. Fantastic kitchen facilities and beautiful showers.

The only negative thing about my stay was that I left my earbuds in my room. But that’s nobody’s fault but my own 😆 I had many questions for the staff from breakfast recommendations to transportation to covid testing and they were all very helpful. The best part of my stay was the view out my window, which was a picture-perfect spot for watching NYE fireworks over Gamla Stan.

The Hostel is super good, the beds are wide (stayed in a double room) and the breakfast is also great. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathrooms are almost private since they are not shared by so many apartments. The location is good since it isn't too far walking from the street but it misses groceries, bakeries, Cafés and restaurants around. For that you have to walk some 15-20 minutes.

Fantastic hostel/hotel in the heart of Stockholm. The location is lovely on the adjacent island of Gamla Stan. Breakfast is 110kr but worth it since the buffet style is extensive and offers something for all diets. I stayed in a 6 beds dorm and the first two nights I had the room for myself. My last two nights I met some great people! Kitchen is available and fully functional for meal prepping. There could be more bathrooms but otherwise I strongly recommend this place! Staff was great!

Loved this hostel, incredibly clean and spacious! Travelers of all ages. The beds were comfy and the rooms were nicely heated. Super large showers which was great! Kitchen that was awesome to have and a festive lounge room. Right on the water and a short walk to museums and other attractions like Old Town. Staff was okay. They didn’t have a lot of suggestions on things to do or places to see. You can get a really nice breakfast spread in the morning at an additional cost. Would stay again!

The af Chapman was away at Blekholmen while getting a yardarm replaced. We, thus, stayed in the main building in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The location on Skeppshomen is central and quiet. The cafe is great for a bite or a beer and Hotel Skeppshomen with their lovely restaurant is nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful in making bookings. The 65 bus runs by the hostel and the Kungsträdgården T-Bana station is just 1/2 mile away.

Second time staying here, facilities, room and showers were great. My room was completely full which I thought was odd since most hostels are operating at limited capacity due to Covid. There’s an older woman on the staff that isn’t too friendly, but the younger guy is really great and very happy to chat with you and help you with everything. Breakfast is good, not sure it’s worth the money, but nice to have food while everything else is closed. Would stay again for the beautiful view outside.

    Very Good

    28 Oct 2021
Staying at this hostel was a decision of the last minute due to unexpected change of plans. We stayed at the 16-bed dorm. The atmosphere wasn't the best. I felt like we were in an orphanage. 16 beds, 16 lamps, 16 drawers and a big table with chairs in the middle. It's in the attic. There wasn't any place to charge our phones and it was a bit dark. There weren't enough toilets and showers. Only 2 and 3 for a whole floor. They were clean though. The rest of the areas and the stuff were nice.
