Property Description

Registration Number AJ000440
We're located in a completely refurbished impressive modernist building in the best location ever dreamed for a hostel, next to Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas.

We offer amazing views over the most famous buildings and areas of Barcelona. Altogether this is one of the most spectacular hostels in Europe.

We have rooms ranging from singles and doubles to dorms. Most of the rooms are ensuite.

There's a huge bar and common room where you can meet tons of people. We offer free broadband in the common areas and high-speed internet (Premium) in all the rooms with low charge. Breakfast available with coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, fruit and toast (4.5€).

We're totally focused to the international traveller. From our travellers desk you can book all kinds of tours and activities in order to socialize and discover the city. If you need anything (information, assistance, etc,) or you want to book any tour or activity in or around Barcelona, you'll only need to contact our staff, who are travellers like you and will provide all the help and info.

The hostel is located just a step away from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas in the most elegant avenue and the best architectural walk in the city - The Passeig de Gracia. The quantity and quality of modernist buildings you can find in this street is unrivalled not only in Barcelona but in any city of the world. The Passeig de Gracia was designed from the beginning to be Barcelona's Grand Avenue, and is also home to Gaudi's most accomplished work and one of Modernism's best examples, La Pedrera (or Casa Mila). Today the Passeig de Gracia is an eminently commercial avenue, in the style of the great European boulevards. There is no better way to get to know the essence of Barcelona than to take a relaxed stroll along the Passeig de Gracia.

Barcelona is a city of charming streets, busy with people and full of life. The old town, comprising the Gothic quarter, the Rivera and Raval districts, is famed for its historical monuments, narrow streets and bohemian atmosphere. The city also has the biggest selection of modernist architecture; most of these buildings are in the Eixample district which constitutes a unique model of European urban planning.

Barcelona is the only European capital with over four kilometres of beaches where you can enjoy the most modern amenities and these beaches are not far from Barcelona's historical landmarks, and they have opened up our modern and cosmopolitan city to the sea. View House Rules

A very central location close to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff, a social event every night and cheap bar onsite. Clean rooms and bathrooms with reasonable size lockers by the bed but not big enough for a full size suitcase. Would stay again

What makes this hostel is the amazing location, right in the middle of the Gothic and Gaudí sites, and the social atmosphere. Every night they have a welcome meeting on the rooftop terrace with free beer, a dinner and pub crawl included if you play 15€ for a wristband but lasts your whole stay. Reception staff, cleaning staff and pub crawl girls all super helpful and friendly. Downside is the WiFi is bad, terrible showers, and uncomfortable pillows. Lockers aren’t big enough to fit large items.

Wifi was extremely poor! Lockers should have larger lock holes to accommodate all lock sizes. Bartender was rude. Couldn’t close a door without slamming it.

The location of the hostel is perfect. But toilets and showers dirty and not comfortable. You can find a lot of better hostel than that place. İt does not worth money that you pay.

Stayed in the 14 dorm share which was fine however the bathrooms were not up to standard. There is only a curtain separating the shower cubicle to the rest of the bathroom. The shower and curtain were dirty, it is also an automatic push button to get water like in public bathrooms. Our floor there was only two shower cubicles, one of which didn’t have a curtain. The other facilities were nice, staff were lovely, nightly activities were good to meet other travellers but it is not value for $$

Good stay for the price. AC in room broke 3/6 nights. Stayed in a 14 bed dorm and some people were tripping on whatever they were on. Met some really neat people too though. Just keep your stuff locked up. My swim suit and cover up got stolen because I left it out to dry. Free beer at 2000 on the terrace. Decent breakfast in the AM. Really great area in town. That’s what probably made the stay: it’s a convenient walk to just about anything you need. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Sharing a room with 5 other people makes it impossible not to inconvenience each other with use of the bathroom or accidentally making too much noise whilst others are sleeping. Some people will get in at 3am and others will set an alarm for 6.30am. In fact it's probably better to just forget about showering. The ensuite shower can barely fit a human- don't drop the soap! Seriously, if you do, you have to step out onto the plastic bath mat (no water absorption, so the floor gets wet) in order
