Property Description

Registration Number AJ000440
We're located in a completely refurbished impressive modernist building in the best location ever dreamed for a hostel, next to Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas.

We offer amazing views over the most famous buildings and areas of Barcelona. Altogether this is one of the most spectacular hostels in Europe.

We have rooms ranging from singles and doubles to dorms. Most of the rooms are ensuite.

There's a huge bar and common room where you can meet tons of people. We offer free broadband in the common areas and high-speed internet (Premium) in all the rooms with low charge. Free breakfast includes coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, fruit and toast.

We're totally focused to the international traveller. From our travellers desk you can book all kinds of tours and activities in order to socialize and discover the city. If you need anything (information, assistance, etc,) or you want to book any tour or activity in or around Barcelona, you'll only need to contact our staff, who are travellers like you and will provide all the help and info.

The hostel is located just a step away from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas in the most elegant avenue and the best architectural walk in the city - The Passeig de Gracia. The quantity and quality of modernist buildings you can find in this street is unrivalled not only in Barcelona but in any city of the world. The Passeig de Gracia was designed from the beginning to be Barcelona's Grand Avenue, and is also home to Gaudi's most accomplished work and one of Modernism's best examples, La Pedrera (or Casa Mila). Today the Passeig de Gracia is an eminently commercial avenue, in the style of the great European boulevards. There is no better way to get to know the essence of Barcelona than to take a relaxed stroll along the Passeig de Gracia.

Barcelona is a city of charming streets, busy with people and full of life. The old town, comprising the Gothic quarter, the Rivera and Raval districts, is famed for its historical monuments, narrow streets and bohemian atmosphere. The city also has the biggest selection of modernist architecture; most of these buildings are in the Eixample district which constitutes a unique model of European urban planning.

Barcelona is the only European capital with over four kilometres of beaches where you can enjoy the most modern amenities and these beaches are not far from Barcelona's historical landmarks, and they have opened up our modern and cosmopolitan city to the sea. View House Rules

Having read some of the previous reviews of this hostel, I was a bit wary of coming here. As soon as I walked in and met the reception staff, my doubts went away. I had a really good stay. There's a lively atmosphere in the common area every evening where the staff put on meet and greet events. The building is huge. The beds are nice and comfy and the location is perfect for exploring Barcelona on foot. Overall I'd definitely recommend.

The rooms were good and clean, although there was a guy in our room who was very creepy so we asked the staff at the reception to change our room and they immediately helped us out. So overall good experience

No Air Conditioning in stiflingly hot rooms. Our room as so hot I had to sleep on the floor to survive the night! This place is in the best location but you might want to invest in a portable 10€ fan. You will not survive the heat without severe psychological damage. The doors don’t lock and ransoms entered our room uninvited and without keys. Other wise; the staff are great and check out the Air Conditioned Room on the 7th floor! It’s a common area!

Dirtiest washroom I have ever used. Only the balcony and the location were the reason to stay. Beds were clean. No locks in locker room, you have to buy one

The bathrooms were mostly clean but they presented some problems, such as toilet paper frequent shortages, and water coming out of the showers making the pavement wet often times. The breakfast was very poor and it included 2 very basic types of cereal, a coffee machine, 2-3 very common fruits (bananas, apples, oranges), juice and toasts. One guy in my dorm was very sick and coughing all the time and considered the Covid outbreak they need stricter policies about the people they let in.

I had called them several times and they didn't answer. I also emailed the hostel and still haven't gotten a response and I have come and left the hostel. There was a person in my assigned bed and then when I changed beds and notified the reception staff; the sheets weren't clean. The bathrooms weren't clean neither the showers nor the toilets and the trash hadn't been emptied. The lights didn't work in some parts of the bathroom. The terrace was a bit trashy. The breakfast was decent.

While there we witnessed locks cut off lockers by thieves, fights at night in rooms because of mixup with beds. Our cards had to be recalibrated every day because they would just stop working. The kitchen is small and poorly stocked, the terace was under maintenance and closed, and the other communal areas were closed around eleven. There was barely any security at the entrance, some people slept in the rooms without making reservations, they could just walk in and lay down. Terrible place.
